American Media Silent across the board as Another Journalist is Tortured to Death by Saudi Arabia

Also pretty damn quiet on the French protests that have resulted in 8 deaths

There is definitely collusion amongst the major providers on what they won't touch

if the media had to report every gruesome death in Saudi Arabia it would be a full-time job.

Media is waiting for President Trump to say something insensitive about it. Then it will be front page news.

Or they are busy reporting on a charitable foundation that he essentially stole money from.

No biggie right? Lol

it's a given that if you are snooping around and reporting on some powerful people, there may be some repercussions.
being a reporter doesnt give you a free pass to report on people and be free from consecuences.

I mean.. Michael Flynn was all but accused of treason today. That's kind of a big deal in the American public.

If this news wasn't available how did you find out of it?

@abiG are you a wizard?

Are we supposed to care about every atrocity or wrongdoing in every single country???

I mean seriously, nobody in America cared about that kashgoggi guy, they just pretended to because they saw it as an opportunity to rip on Trump (May as well since he owns real estate in the heads of so many stupid liberals). Now he’s not saying anything about this other guy so nobody cares. Is normal.

should send Geraldo Rivera over there

The market dictates what news gets reported. Correlation =/= causation. To think there is some cabal of ideologues running the news corporations that get together and decide what news not report is kinda silly, especially if there is no obvious conflict of interest or demonstrated demand for the story.

It happened last month, as well, and is frankly not an uncommon occurrence in Saudi Arabia: their viciousness toward the press is probably only exceeded by North Korea.

I think it would have been a big story without Trump being involved in any way. Also I think the difference with these cases is that Saudi Arabia is supposed to be an allied nation. How many allied nations governments are killing journalists?

What does the Hungarian media have in common with the BBC? Neither are covering what been going on in Hungary the last week

I am really getting curious as to what kinds of medievel torture methods these bedouins employ.

They haven't reported it because they haven't found a way to report it that furthers their chosen narrative.
