Nobody's talking about the Bam Bam/Alves fight, but everyone expected Barberena to lose and he ended up putting on an excellent fight. Solid offensive boxing and good take down defense. In a year or two this guy will be a contender.

That is one tough dude. Round 1 wasn't easy for him, but he keeps moving forward and giving no fucks.

He looked great. Beaten two undefeated hype trains in a row now.

Looking forward to his next fight.

This

Dude fights like he truly gives no fucks about any other fighter, and potentially has the greatest post flip win

War Bam Bam

I'm officially a fan of him.. he has a real Brian Ebersole type feel to him (Even shares the same name if spelled differently)

And since Ebersole is retired I suppose he will do as a replacement. WAR Iconoclast beard-dad bod bam bam

I'm definitely a fan now. War Bam Bam.

Kind of a Joe Lauzon like syndrome. Where Joe was brought in as the opponent of Jens Pulvers return, then ends up starching him in the 1st and goes on to have a long entertaining career in the sport. Maybe he will follow a similar path.

He's an amazing fighter. I even bet on him because I have such a great appreciation for his gritty style (and the odds were nice). But I had serious doubts. Warley is so fuckin good. As soon as Barberena popped out of that guillotine, though, I knew he was gonna win a decision.

BB has had four UFC fights. He's 3-1 altogether, despite being 0-4 in the first rd of those fights. That's my kind of fighter.

the last stop on hype train express.

I'm not surprised though, motherfuckers. he already beat sagegoat--I now expect nothing less.

fan now

Yep, it's been so long ago I sometimes forget about that.

Looking at who hes been matched up with it is obvious the ufc thought they were throwing him to the wolves.

Thing is i think his opponents underestimated him. That will end with warley. Next fight he has will be a real one where his opponent wont underestimate him. Expect to see a different result.

Man i really wish this guy could get on a good strength and conditioning program and then see what his potential is. I understand hes prob got not the best genes to build muscle but for how successful he is with his "dad bod" I just wonder what his potential could be if he he packed on some muscle.. regardless though watching him outlast and beat the shit out of that guy was so awesome.

Tough as nails, entertaining, strange & unique character, derailed two hype trains.

I'm a fan.

This is what we need in the UFC, not hypes to bring all those new fans, honestly
