I would say he should do it now, but I know he's a warrior and won't want to. Win, lose or draw I hate to say this but I think Hollywood should hang em up after his next fight or two.

Don't get me wrong he's more than capable of continuing but I just don't want to see him go out like chuck liddell, he's 1-4 in his last Five bouts and I'd hate to see him take more punishment.

the only thing this fight proves is that he should fight lower weight.

He should have retired after the rematch with Shogun.

It's up to Dan. He only has one KO loss. Not the same as Liddell, when he was getting KO'd at a scary rate. Still a big name, and there is money to be made fighting

Dan has still taken some vicious punishment despite only getting stopped by strikes once though. I think it's time. He's 43 years old and he's not getting any better, nor does he have anything left to prove.

Of course, it is up to him though. I'd like to see him ride off into the sunset though.

He fought Shogun like less than 2 months ago, won the fight but took a beating, no rest, and jumps right back into camp and takes this fight. And, yeah, hes 43 years old.
The odds were completely against Hendo for this fight.

No trt. No Hendo. Tonight proved it. He's old and washed up.

Dan is a warrior, his decision but I think he should hang it up.

or maybe he should stop fighting heavyweight wrestlers which use their weight to an advantage, why the phuck is dan hendo coming in at 199 to fight at 205 against a guy that's gonna balloon up to 220+ on fight day. phucking ridiculous man, hendo's a mw. cormier is a hw.

all this fight did was show you why we have weightclasses.

Hendo looked like he could make 170 next to Daniel. Just a bad matchup tonight. Dc is too explosive for hendo. Dc is like a bear mauling you. Hendo footwork was too slow and the inevitable happened. Rashad, Gus and machida are guys that would cause problems for dc. If jones dosent get some Apollo creed assistance, then the same will probably happen to him as well. I think hendo should only fight middle from now on.he can still beat most of the middleweights in the world. At least he has fought all the kings of mma. His legacy shall never be tarnished in my eyes.

He should move to 185. He cant compete with the monsters at 205. I don't think Dan is done, but 185 is his only chance at this point.

Would have liked to see him retire on top after finishing Shogun TBH.

After the losses he had (to top guys) that was his chance to retire on top.

A UFC belt is going to be beyond him at this point in his career, he should have fat stacks saved by now.

I think so, maybe do a rematch vs Franklin to end both of their careers.
