Since 98% of the threads here seem to be about MMA vs Boxing or PBF vs Pacman I'm going to switch it up a bit...

Juan Diaz faces JMM in a highly anticipated rematch.

JMM is a heavy favorite according to the book makers and I think Diaz can take this.

Juan Diaz up until the knockout in their first fight kept the fight very close and was landing some flush punches.

I don't recall which announcer said it, but it made perfect sense, "...if this kid knew how to clinch he would have won this fight..."

JMM is getting old and father time is knocking at his door.

I predict Diaz via UD, if not late round stoppage.

    What do you guys think?

Diaz is going to make JMM corner stop the fight. I see him working JMM the whole time and not giving JMM a chance to breath. It is going to be sad but I think JMM will fall in this fight. Not get knocked out but his corner will have to save him.

I think it's possible, but if we know anything about the baby bull by now, it is that he can be broken mentally, and if we know anything about JMM, it is that he is damn near impossible to break mentally. I think the Bull is growing weaker and weaker.. Nate took some of his rage and Malinaggi took a bunch more.. he is a fighter that tries to overwhelm his opponents with the hope that they will fold. When they don't respond negatively he loses confidence and becomes the prey.

I think JMM has slid, but still has the mental toughness and countering skill to beat the baby bull

Good ol Cracky. Where you been my arch nemesis lol.

I agree. JMM is an excellent tactician that will exploit Diaz weaknesses. Diaz can only fight one way, while that style is very entertaining he doesnt possess the skills to beat JMM

Diaz got rocked by Mailignaggi, so imo another fight with JMM will get him KTFO.

JMM might be old, but is his fight with mayweather indicative of his current state right now? I say no. He fought Mayweather and it's a horrible style match up to him. If you want to throw in the weight difference, you can. Really don't have anything to base it on to say DEFINITELY JMM is down and out...

Diaz? Dude got bolt stunned by Maliggnaggi... You see the surprise on Malignaggi's face when he made him do the fish dance? He was in complete shock. Plus him getting blitzed last time around doesnt help. The kid has taken a lot of damage in his career and he doesn't have a different gear. The kid is going to get KOed early. He should call it a day, get his law degree, become a politician like he wanted to.

Like he didn't get knocked the fuck out the last time around???

People kind of underestimate JMM's power. The dude is one of the hardest punchers within his realm. Pacquiao being able to withstand his punches in their fights is a testament of Pacquiao's fucking toughness.

JMM straight makes people yield. Casamayor fought the likes of Frietas (He's a glass bitch), Castillo, Corrales... The most dangerous punchers at 135 in the past decade and they couldn't hurt him like the way JMM did.

I don't think JMM is shot, I just think Diaz is going to press him twice as hard in this as he did in the first one and it going to take everything that JMM left in him. He will be shot after this fight, he is going to take a beating. I talking bout
the type Oscar laid on Chavez Sr.

OH WTF... What got Diaz in trouble was him trying to press too much and got reckless. Diaz pressed hard, rushed, JMM was eventually able to measure and time him... Sidestep, uppercut. End of fucking story. I like to see Diaz try to light a fire under JMM's ass. He'll get knocked out even earlier.

The under in this fight is listed at -105 and the spread is 11 1/2 rounds. Pretty good bet if you ask me since Diaz probably won't last that long.

I have all my gambling money tied up in UFC 117 so i can't put anything down. I already have Marquez include in some parlays though.

As of right now, JMM is -500 and Diaz is +300.

I see this fight going very much like the first, Diaz strong out of the gates, but Marquez's willingness to trade and counter in the exchanges is going to wear Diaz out again.

    Marquez KO rd. 10

Marquez will find success earlier this time around. JMM has already found him out once and can build on it in this fight.
    IMHO.

Funny...many of you make it seem that JMM controlled the entire first fight.

Diaz landed many sound shots and even stunned JMM early in the fight.
His greatest fault was not clinching when in trouble....which JMM took full advantage of.
