Movies Am I The Only One That Likes The Ewoks?

I hated them the first time I saw them and hate them still. They are nasty cringy creatures and them winning over stormtroopers make stormtroopers look so bad.

Growing up as a kid I cant recall ever watching the star wars movies but I always remember the Ewoks movies and I loved watching them!

I have never watched them as an adult/man boy but I am very tempted to give them a watch again. But there is the small worry it'll ruin the movies entirely for me by not holding up to my child standards.

I think I'm gonna rewatch Return of the Jedi first and then dive into the Ewoks movies.

What about you? Did you like the Ewoks?

I recorded ewoks on my betamax in the 80s. Ive been looking for the ending battle soundtrack for the battle of endor for years.

Like a lot of things from the original trilogy, they benefited a lot from all the absolute dogshit that came later. By comparison, the ewoks aren't that bad.

They're uh, meh. I don't remember if I liked them as a kid, I don't think so. Indifferent at best. They're easily the weakest part of ROTJ. Replace them with wookies and it'd significantly improve the movie (though it's still my favorite).
