I havent seen this mentioned anywhere?? It makes perfect sense if he wins tomorrow.
 
I don't think they'd force GSP out of retirement just to embarrass Conor on the biggest stage in MMA.
 
GSP would manhandle Conor so bad that the only 2nd belt he'd ever obtain would be the Women's BW.
 
I was thinking about this fight the other day. GSP would get exposed again, he'd get the beating of his life. I'd love the hype surrounding the fight though.

How would Conor and the UFC deal with the fact that GSP isn't coming back to play second fiddle to anyone and that includes Conor. Georges would demand a huge sum of money, like equal to what McGregor is getting paid for the fight or more. So basically, that fight is never happening.
 
The most exciting champion in UFC history beating the most boring.

That would be so poetic.
 
GSP is the biggest money fight... Conor loves money but he ain't calling out GSP. That's a fight he can't win.

Maybe he hasn't called him out because he is retired? If he is willing to fight Lawler why would he be afraid of the other WW's, Lawler is the champ after all.
 
I think Robbie is more likely. Especially since they booked Wonderboy vs MacDonald

Because GSP is the worst possible match-up. Number one for Conor above anything else is money. GSP has been hinting at a return for a long time now. He has even mentioned 155lb multiple times. This fight would do double any other fight Conor could have. He hasn't said anything because it isn't a fight he wants.

Dude ffs, the man is retired if he comes back then fair enough. He can drop all the hints he wants but until he comes out of retirement then he is still in retirement.

Doesn't work that. If Conor had been calling out GSP, even over the past few months, guaranteed GSP would be coming out of retirement.

Look if GSP wants to fight McG he has to come out of retirement and hunt for that fight McG doesn't have to go looking for anything anymore, that's the way things work atm.
 
Would be stupid for Conor. A loss would drastically reduce his stock. It would be the highest selling fight ever but its a fight Conor wouldn't win. GSP is way too big for Conor. And yeah i have seen the picture of them together, GSP is still 190LB plus
