so tonight i rolled in the ALMA gi for the first time. it worked out really well, the gi is very light so i didn't feel weighed down when i worked up a sweat. however, as i stated in my first impressions on page 1, the slightly loose weave loosened up while i was sweating and rolling, and the jacket got a bit stretched out. not a deal breaker and all gis exhibit this to some extent, and this one is no different. i may try to dry it a bit to get a little shrinkage so when the gi does stretch out, it'll stretch out to the perfect size.
got a lot of compliments as no one had ever heard of alma before. you'll definitely stand out and look sharp if that's your thing.
