well it's been about 5 months since i started vising the D&S forums and cleaned up my diet. usually by this time of the year, my nose is bright red from rubbing it, i'm sneezing 4 to 8 times ever 10 minutes, puffy eyes and a bad headache.

but so far this year, i have not had my seasonal allergies start up on me. In fact, i haven't gotten the flu either this winter (i usually get it once during jan/feb). As far as i can tell, this lack of allergies is due to diet because my exercise patterns/medications/vitamins is pretty much the same.

the point: i'm a happy believer

No doubt. I know when I am slacking on my diet because my allergies are much worse than when I am eating clean and exercising.

I get hit with seasonal allergies, too. It gets damn dry and dusty in my area, so I usually stock up on daytime OTC allergy stuff (a non-drowsy antihistamine + a splash o' psuedoephedrine) AND sometimes have to use Benadryl every night.

Even with a clean diet, I don't notice much of a difference.

I think a large part of it comes down to what you are allergic to. I think that much of my actual allergies are cause by something I eat (I dunno what though) and when I eat clean I am not eating whatever that is. I know Milk makes my allergies worse but I think there is something else as well. Maybe sometime I'll attempt to narrow it down.

And where have YOU been Clint? Long-time no see.
