I did this once. Sparked decent debate. Here is the updated version
This is strictly by resume. Nothing else. Not talent. Not finishes. Nothing except for by resume.
except Flyweight. Sorry just not enough great flyweights to make a good list. And no women. Also PED users are in here because quite honestly.....they are all on steroids
HW
1. Fedor- I think this is pretty clear but I guess some people try to debate it? But resume wise I think it's pretty clear
2. Antonio Nogueira- I think it's neck and neck with him and Werdum at this point. I wouldn't argue if you had Werdum at 2
3. Fabricio Werdum
4. Stipe-
5. DC- I know he beat Stipe, But I would probably take Stipe's HW resume over his. Stipe (JDS,Reem, Francis, Andrei, Hunt,Werdum) vs DC (Barnett, Stipe, Bigfoot, Mir, Nelson). I take Stipe resume wise. But either way is ok with me.
6. JDS
7. Cain
8. Overeem
9. Cro Cop
10. Sylvia
LHW
1. Jon Jones- Sorry. Resume wise its sorta not close
2. Chuck- I think he has better wins at 205 than DC (sorry DC fans ). But if you put DC at 2 no worries.
3. DC
4. Shogun
5. Wandy
6. Rampage
7. Henderson
8. Randy
9. Machida
10. Rashad
MW
1. Anderson Silva
2. Vitor Belfort
3. Dan Henderson
4. Michael Bisping- Look at his resume before freaking out
5. Yoel Romero
6. Jacare
7. Rockhold- maybe rockhold over jacare
8. Weidman
9. Whittaker
10. Moose
And before everyone freaks out about Franklin go back and look at his resume.....he has been surpassed resume wise.
Also MW is easily the hardest for me. 5-10 is a complete tossup and could be totally different depending on the person
