    Nothing but respect for Cerrone. In an era where fighting once a year is considered "active", Cerrone tried to fight as often as possible and never ducked opponents. Always brought it and we will likely never see another of his kind.

    Yeah, sadly none of that surprised me.

    I've loved Cerrone the fighter since the begining but I've never thought I'd like Cerrone the person

    If you're a fighter and you've never been world champion, there'll always be something more to prove.

    But at this point in Cowboy's career, that's not likely to happen. Best to hang up the gloves and take solace in the fact that he had a great career and made a ton of money in the sport.

    Given his legacy, he should be more comfortable with the prospect retiring than he seems to be.
    He, or his manager, needs to convince the UFC to give him an easy fight, so he can go out on a win.
