Lombard vs. Manhoef at a 178 catchweight to start it off.

Manhoef at 170 would get taken down and submitted by most WWs. Dropping down in weight does nothing to change his objectively poor mma skill-set.

I doubt it, he would be alot stronger at 170. Theres a difference between Kenedy and other 170s

Well it's not just Kennedy, I've been watching Melvin for years now and he is still objectively an incomplete fighter. Why is he going to be a lot stronger at 170? He is getting old, and by the time he would actually be able to build up a winstreak to get him in the UFC he will be well passed his prime which won't help a fighter who relies on his power and explosiveness. He had some good years from 06-09 but a 37 year old kickboxer against younger UFC WWs with wrestlgin background? I have my doubts.

Actually MW is a better division for him, slower guys and less wrestlers.
He would get mauled in the wrestler shark tank of WW.

i would rather he stay in onefc and crush cans

when you take a badass fighter and put him in the ufc, you get boring fights. most of the guys in the ufc can wrestle, and a guy with the best power in the sport and zero wrestling is gonna get grapplefucked

Yeah, I could see him taking out the slower guys with less than stellar sub games like Barbarian Boetsch or Kong Watson. The guy did almost kill Larson, so he still has a bit of an upside.

Severe lack of spellcheck is the case here.

His problem isn't size or getting out-strengthed it's that he had no tdd, and unfortunately that would be even more glaring at 170 with all the high class wrestlers. He has one punch/kick power no matter the weight so I don't see a drop to 170 benefiting him in fact he'd probably fair better with the strikers at LHW

I don't know man, WW has a lot of good wrestlers - he'd have a hard time with that.

Well, he fought Brock Larsen and lost by decision, so that should give you an idea of how he'd fare against the wrestlers at 170.
