WLADIMIR Klitschko has turned to the best in Britain in a bid to retain his world heavyweight titles tonight.

Klitschko defends his IBF, WBA and WBO 'super' belts against Russian Alexander Povetkin in Moscow.

And, if the 37-year-old Germanbased Ukrainian wins, he will give a massive vote of thanks to fighters from this side of the Channel.

He has had intensive sparring with the likes of Michael Sprott and Sam Sexton, with Dillian Whyte also providing him with useful practice at his Austrian training base.

Wladimir's brother Vitali, the WBC champion, said: "My brother always seems to like British sparring partners."

Putin knows his boxing more than most but if was truly a nice guy he would have stepped down and let a more deserving candidate lead his country. Instead, he exploits the system by making sure that no legit opponent will be recognized by the media.

He needs to look to Gorby and take a permanent vacation. His reign makes Russia's system look like a farce.

I like the part where he's trying to prevent wars (Syria), and actually helping whistleblowers escape a lifetime of solitary confinment (Snowden).

Putin's a dick in his own right (im sure he had a hand in false-flag ops like the Moscow apartment bombings, that swept him into power), but he sure as heck deserves a Nobel Peace Prize lot more than Obama or Kissinger.
