Some cups have different shapes than others. It might be a problem to try and mix and match compression shorts with cups. I have not tried it.
The most protection I have felt with a cup was with the Diamond MMA cup and shorts. It is a bit expensive but I think you will be able to use them for any activity.
I did a search on this forum and couldn't find the info I was looking for.
I'm looking for an all purpose groin protector for Muay Thai, BJJ, MMA, Sparring, Boxing.
I see good reviews and bad reviews for most protectors including the Jaco, Hayabusa with compression shorts and especially the Shockdoctor's.
What do you guys recommend for minimum shift? Also, people are telling me to go with steel and not plastic and no flex cups.
Can any cup fit in most compression shorts. For example, can the hayabusa cup fit in any compression short cup pocket, etc?
Codek, I got a large and I have a 34" waist so I think they are close to the size chart.
Here is a link for them

Thanks for posting this man, I was literally just about to make a thread about this considering I was just TKO'd via groin shot earlier today during sparring. Felt like a Ray Sefo vs Andy Hug moment haha
Has anyone tried this steel cup from Fairtex?

Thanks for the links.
Btw, are you a 34" pants size or a tape measure 34". Although I have a tape measure 42" waist, I still will fit in 36" jeans.
