On a scale from 1-10, and also, compared to your trust level in say, elections in general.
Is ballotpedia a bunch of fake news now?
Democrats went from 49 million to 45 million and change.

I don't know where specifically the chart in the OP came from, but I don't see much reason to doubt the numbers. They seem to fall pretty much in line with any other bits of information over the last several years. There was a solid shift to the right in between 2020 and the mid terms, another solid number in several states who are still democrat voters but switched last year to vote against Trump in the primary.Man, I really want to give you a like for providing a source, and I probably will anyway because I think it's a good faith source - but to be fair, I don't see the supposed Nov 2020 numbers here.
You're quoting the Jun 2021 numbers (49 mil dems), which is fine, but not what this meme states, so it doesn't actually confirm the data. This meme has Republicans gaining voters, but your source has them losing voters, for example, so it makes me a bit skeptical.
If this thread was named anything else like "Dems losing support from record highs" I wouldn't even nitpick here, because I think the broader point still remains and is interesting - but as just the meme itself idk that this quite confirms that data.
