    yeah, Putin is really not doing himself any favors with this. his haters dont need any more reasons to hate him, but even his followers, so-called kremlebots, see this as stupid and unnecessary.
    sure, confiscate the food that was smuggled in, but destroy it? the Russia's ban is meant to hurt western food manufacturers, and it does many of them, but in this case whoever sold the food already got their money. confiscating it hurts Russian businessmen who bought it. now distribute it to families in need or foster homes ffs.
