All three judges scored the fight differently - puts it into perspective.

I actually think all three are acceptable. I can see the first three being for Gus as well too.

It makes sense. Round 2 and 3 are the closest.

if the last 2 judges were fused, then gus would have rounds 1-3

Bertrand's score was the right one, IMO. That Round 4 was tricky as Gus was lighting Jones up with punches for 4 minutes, then Jones lands the spinning elbow and almost finishes Gus in the last minute.

If Jones wouldn't have landed that elbow, Gus would have won the 4th clearly, and that would have given him the fight on 2 of the judges' cards.

Just goes to show how close 2 and 3 were. Fightmetric seperated them by a point.

If it was a 3 round fight, from these scores, Gus would win.

Hopefully he can adapt to the 5 rounds for the rematch

I can't get on board with 2-5 Jones

The other two judges split rounds 2-3. The only definitive rounds were 1 for GUS and 4 and 5 for Jones. Which I think is an accurate take on the fight. 2 and 3 were really close.

so that elbow in round 4 saved jones . But lets be honest that shit wont land again. If it does, it wont be as effective. Gus wins the rematch

I had it like Bertrand.

Jones stepped up in 4 when he really needed to. I was rooting for Gus, but I had it 48-47 Jones.
