Aljamain Sterling says he doesn't regret his 'Mr Tate' comments

"To be honest I only said all that to actually get him to take the fight," Sterling said. "He didn't want to fight me as he knew I was the toughest fighter out of all of those other guys and that's why he didn't want the fight with me. I respected him and I wanted that fight so that's why I said it. As I said I don't regret anything I said. I compared him to Miesha and I don't think that's any insult in any way.

"If people want to get riled up because I said 'she wears the pants in the relationship', I said that because she's the one always fighting and he's the one always on the sidelines. I don't think that's an inaccurate statement. If people want to be butt-hurt about it then they can be butt-hurt about it--I don't give a sh*t."

what a load of crap, they have both fought 4 times since june 2014. he's desperately trying to be relevant and no one cares, he's like the anti jones in that he is trying so hard to be liked(or disliked) that no one cares. I think it's normally a bad thing for a fighter when there ego is so prevalent in their personality, that it just seems to hurt him even more. maybe it would work better if he had some better wins, but at this stage he's just setting himself in for a big fall back down to earth when there is little upside at this point in his career.

also people who don't give a shit, but trash talk there opponents to get people to care about his fights, while wearing a ridiculously cheesy chain, and having a cheesy ass nickname, just scream hypocrisy and BS
