Media Aljamain Sterling "Jose Aldo getting a shot at the title makes no sense"

I’m excited for my boy Baldo vs Yan. Aljo should focus on Cory because he has his hands full on Sat
 
He's just salty... I understand why but Aldo's a legend, Aljo's not.

Stay calm and win fights, you'll have your title shot in due time Mr. Sterling.

I misread Aldo as "Aljo" and i was like cooool it buddy, i like Aljo but he's not a legend lol

Yeah Aldo has one fight at 135 and be lost (even though I believe he was robbed). Sterling has a point.

but what makes dollars, makes sense. If Aljo gets a win on Saturday he’s got to be next.
 
People keep saying what Aljo said, "it only matters what the judges say". Obviously not. If Dana thought you won, it matters more apparently.
 
Aljaman's day is coming if he stay the course.
 
Cant disagree with him. Its bullshit. Aldo is washed up and dont deserve it. Dont get me wrong the guy is a legend and surely a future hofer

Sure, but the UFC doesn't look for the fight that makes the most sense first, they make the biggest fight first. No denying Aldo vs Yan is a bigger fight than Aljo vs Sandhagen or Yan vs either of them.

He dropped to 135 and in a lot of people's minds (mine included) beat the #1 contender at BW, a guy who KO'd Aljo in the first round. That's a very questionable definition of "washed up" sir.

The dude is great, like I said but you cannot deny he is getting a little past his use by date.
 
He's right. As questionable as you could say the moraes decision was it's an L on aldo's record. Sterling deserves it more on strength of schedule in the division. But that being said Aldo vs Yan could be a hell of a fight. So damned if I do, damned if i don't on this topic.

He's lost a step sure, but he's not washed. he turned pro at 17. at 33 he's been fighting for 16 years. 70% Aldo is still top 3 fighter. He can totally win the Yan fight. I just hope he mixes up his attack more, and uses his kicks at least some. Rivera gave Yan serious issues with calf kicks.

Strength of schedule? He got hurt and hasn't fought in a year. Not his fault, but still.
You are correct, Yan vs Aldo is gonna be fire.
