3 minutes long, but he basically says Fedor took the easy route by not signing with the UFC, didn't test himself after Pride, and he also scored round 1 of Fedor/Maldonado a 10-7

  3. He has a point. I am a huge Fedor nuthugger, but the facts are fact the victors write history and the UFC is the victor.

Fedor was never in the UFC so he will be forgotten by many people except the old school fans who will eventually die. Fedor's run in Pride and leading up to 2009 was awesome but after that he did take the easy way out. I realize he beat top 10 fighters but it says a lot that he didn't want to be in the UFC contract. And what that says is he wanted to pick and choose who he fights and not have to face the elite of elite.

This belief that Dana was unwilling to sign Fedor is bullshit the guy tried 3x and offered Fedor more than most fighters will ever get. In addition, M1 Global demanding co-promotion is bullshit given that they are nothing and just wanted to mooch off the UFC brand.

If Fedor had simply come to the UFC and won a fight or two especially while undefeated. The UFC would of claimed him as their own and shown all sorts of "behind the scenes" and fight accsss shit would be done about him. They would try and cement Fedor as their fighter. But since he avoided the UFC and now they have no reason to give him attention, that is unless he wants to come to the UFC.

UFC would be nuts to not sign Fedor. It is all up to Fedor though.

And now delusional Fedor fans who can't see reality will attack me and use the usual list of "look who a Fedor beat he doesn't need UFC". That is true and all but going forward he won't be cemented like boxing cemented Muhammad Ali or Iron Mike Tyson.

Keep in mind that there are new mma fans everyday who never saw Anderson Silva fight in his prime. And yet they will hear from Joe Rogan and the entire mma establishment world that Anderson Silva is the greatest ever and UFC will play his fights over and over again via rerunns on Fox Sports1, 2, etc. Thus Anderson Silva gets cemented in their minds and exposure.

The only time Fedor gets mentioned is when Rogan and Goldberg are introducing a HW who fought Fedor. Like Wedrum and they mention that Werdum submitted Fedor who had been undefeated for 10 years.

And all that stuff matters. Ask new boxing fans of today who the greatest boxer ever was and most will say Muhammad Ali. Hell, Ali just died and the entire national media praised him as the GOAT!!! That is the power of exposure and a solid record. Fedor has the record but lacked the exposure and cementing.

Yup. Fedor is not deserving of the title greatest HW ever.

    10 year undefeated streak
7 years ranked as the number 1 fighter in the world
    RINGS/Pride HW/Pride 04 GP Champion
Named Fighter of the Decade 2000-2010
    26 fight win streak
3 Pride HW title defenses. Still more than any UFC HW ever
13 top 10 wins at HW
Beat K1, ADCC, Olympic, Judo, NCAA Champions
Multiple time fighter and HW fighter of the year
Multiple time Gold Combat Sambo medalist while competing in MMA
    Beaten multiple former UFC champions
Beat the best fighters from his era in Nog, CC, Arlovski, Sylvia
Most well rounded fighter in HW history
Many legends and current fighters have called him the GOAT including fighters JDS, Werdum, Cain, Shogun, Aldo, Rockhold, and even Mike Tyson.

But Affliction and Strikeforce both arguably had a better HW division than the UFC at the time Fedor signed with them...with that said what Fedor accomplished in PRIDE alone is good enough to put him in contention for HW GOAT, if you add his wins over Arlovski and Sylvia, it puts him atop the list.

Fedor didn't have a late career resurgence fueled by Bane-esque levels of steroid abuse. But can you imagine if Fedor had juiced himself to the gills and blown up into Mega Fedor, like Overeem juiced himself up into Ubereem? This would be an entirely different conversation.

Econoreem shouldn't even be able to make that argument with a straight face. He knows how many needles went into that chute to get him where he is today.

He fought a lot of cans but he also fought the very best HW`s at the time who happened to be also the best HW`s ever.

Dominated Nogueira by beating him up in his own fucking guard, Nogueira`s guard was even more legendary and fearsome than Werdum`s for example. He dominated Cro Cop on the feet.

Beat Coleman,Randleman and Arlovski easily. Fedor fought in a ERA that PRIDE was the real deal, not the UFC and HW PRIDE shits all over the UFC HW division at the time, Tim Sylvia was undefeated and HW champ lmao and Fedor also choked him like in 20 seconds.

Went 10 years undefeated with a 16 fight win streak and than a 11 fight win streak only interrupted by that NC with Nogueira, he would be on a 28 fight win streak...In the HW division! Here one punch and it`s all over. There is no fucking doubt that Fedor is the HW GOAT and we could easily argue that he is the overrall GOAT.

If Alistair Overeem fought Fedor's competition, you best believe he would have had the same streak.
