Danny Garcia can't handle that type of jab and movement.

Algieri 116-112.

Agree or Disagree?

Garcia has a much greater ability to adjust than Provodnikov. Algieri beat one of the most overrated fighters in boxing.

I've never seen Garcia adjust to a fighter who can jab and move. I've seen him get lucky, close his eyes, and throw a left hook. I thought he lost to Herrera and I believe he'll lose to Algieri as well.

Yeah, I've heard people saying he gets lucky. Pretty amazing to get lucky as often as Garcia does against top flight competition.

Saying a fighter is overrated is really nothing more than not liking the fact that some fans get behind one fighter.

I would favor Danny, but Chris definitely could win if he fights a perfect fight....

Algieri seems to have a solid chin aswell so he could stay up under most of Garcias shots.

I think it would be a close fight that would be easily avoidable. Algerei is a hard fight for anyone

As often as?

He's beaten top competition twice. Get the fuck out of here if you think washed up Zab and washed up Morales are top flight.

eh, come on now. It pretty clear that Provodnikov was being overrated, with talk of fighting Pacquiao.

I don't see the problem with saying a guy is being overrated if he is indeed being overrated.

that had more to do with pac's lack of options than anything else.

Calm down spaz.

Garcia has been in with plenty of quality guys. Erik Morales was old and fat but still capable. Amir Khan was the king of the division for the most part, Matthysse was considered some unstoppable force. Zab had some left too.

I hate the "Who has he fought besides everyone on his resume?" arguments.

Lets not pretend that we haven't been hearing how great Provodnikov is since that Bradley farce.

Wow...I've never seen such overrating for a guy that basically got a gift made fight against a then top 3 ranked fighter in his weight class.

Matthyse had gotten the hype treatment 10 times more because he KO'ed a roid less Lamont Peterson and got "robbed" against Zab Judah.

Thats just as bad if not worse than Provo "almost" beating Bradley...

No one at 140 is great...They are all beatable.

Garcia has some nice wins, but he is far from beatable as his last fight showed.
