Another Heavyweight bout announced!
Pulling for Espino. Would be hilarious if a random 2010 era HW can take years off and come back and go on a run as a 40+yo
would further compound how shit tier current HW is
Damn, why would they match Espino with a green prospect.
Guy should be facing higher ranked guys with his limited window left.
For those that don’t know Romanov, he’s a 260lbs suplex machine that has the top pressure of a Ford Escort.
This guy has three (3!) submissions via forearm choke, that’s how heavy this guy is on top.
Suplex city is that way —>
Nap city. Population: de Lima
Nice. Guy looks legit!
both guys are solid grapplers
don't turn into a terrible standup affair pls
Ahhh, ufc matchmaking at its finest here. Killing off a prospect in a division full of much needed prospects.
Fan of both, looking forward to this.
This is going to be extremely interesting if it hits the deck, two of the best grapplers in the division.
Love this fight, a lot. Espino is 40, he's not a prospect - he's good but Romanov's 12-0 or something and deserves a sterner test.
13-0. Yep, hope this turns into a great fight
If it turns to grappling, Espino got this, he's just way more kinky.
Hopefully Romanov crushes him
I have high hopes for that young man
I believe Juan has the edge on the wrestling and the grappling, however I believe Romanov is superior on the stand up. It will be a great fight to watch, altough I would have preferred this match to happen once they are both in the TOP 15/10.
And then we get Aspinall vs Daukus
Both guys are legit.
I would like to see them beat someone else. I guess UFC is going to simply ride Espinos prime.
Guaranteed to end in some bizarre submission. Love it. Love guys that can pull off the weirder subs period, UFC has a lot of them right now. These two and Oleneik come to mind.
Am i only one who thinks that pic looks like one of those before/after weight loss pictures? their facial structure is similar, lets say those 2 pictures are same guy 6 years apart
Juan Espino. I remember the name and face but can’t remember if he’s any good....
Just because a prospect loses doesn't mean they've been killed off. See Usman vs Edwards, Conor vs Max, Max vs Poirier, Yair vs Hooker etc etc. Fighters can rebound after a loss and still climb into the top 10.
Separate names with a comma.
