Does Alex have an overinflated resume due to being given favorable matchups? Obviously. But even the biggest haters know that he's made mma much more interesting.

Even with his flaws, Alex has been of the most entertaining parts of the sport in recent years.

So name the grappler that he is destined to fight at 185 or 205? Seriously, look at the Top 5 in both divisions and point out the grappler that's going to school him. Ankalaev's a good grappler, but he's by no means elite enough to just run the table on Poatan for 25 minutes; he doesn't have the cardio to do that. DDP... how does he keep winning?!?!?! I'm not picking against him any more, so we'll say DDP fumbles his way to yet another finish he shouldn't be able to score. That's really it right now. The rest are all decently well-rounded strikers; big guys don't really grapple any more!

Although, there is Brendan Allen who's not so far off from a title shot... Hmmm.
