(Reuters) - U.S. conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been suspended from Facebook for bullying and hate speech and is close to having pages tied to him and his Infowars website removed from the platform, the social media network said on Friday.

Good. I hope they permanently ban him. His fact free propaganda doesn't deserve a platform.

They are doing everything they can to keep their idiot agent relevant, but no one cares what he says anymore. He's discredited himself too many times.

I could care less about social media, if people want to waste their lives on that crap that's them. Its beyond weak to hear about a radio personality bullying them. Also the story of him endangering a child was completely false. As much as I can't stand a lot of commies on here's heros, none of them should be banned.

I got Alex's back.

Jones carries a major imbalance between his notoriety & the harm he does, and the amount of personal security he employs...
 
InfoWars' parent company, RT, is still on Facebook, though.
 
Sets a bad precedent and Alex Jones is more entertaining than 99% of shows out there.

Even though I don't think he's correct a lot of the time, I still think it's important that he is there. He was right about the gay frogs, which is pretty alarming. Also it was the only place I found that reported on the massive CIA document declassification.
 
I don’t have a problem with it as long as Facebook is consistent and also bans CNN, ABC, NBC, FOX, and every other type of propaganda media organization. If they don’t then I think they’re limiting speech they don’t like, which is pathetic.

The worst thing I think about AJ is the fact that he fully understands what he's saying is bullshit. He fully understands that he's feeding the minds of people suffering from mental disorders who could potentially do harm to people based on his lunatic conspiracy theories. He just doesn't care and probably enjoys it, probably because of the money and power.

And fuck Joe Rogan for not calling AJ out on his recent hate mongering.
 
He should have been ban from everything after he started the Sandy Hook bullshit. Fuck that guy and all of his false CT bullshit. This ban is coming way to late IMO.
