Weirdly I saw this fight news earlier and forgot I didn't know he was released, felt like I had read that news ages ago but clearly not. Had a much, much longer UFC tenure than I first expected post-TUF.

Curious how his life is going outside the sport... I believe when he starting making money at the UFC level, he invested it in growing his own farm.
I'd rather see him in the PFL than some Mike Perry shit... or of course Karate Combat.

2011-2024. Fuck that's a long time in UFC. He really went on a run at one point. I don't think losing to Giga and Woodson back to back is that bad either. He seemed to step up his game in his later career as well.

For what was expected of him I think he did pretty good. Even in losing he hung in there with most fighters and beat Pettis when he was booked to lose. The Erosa KO was pretty sick as well and usually had fun fights.
