Everybody and their uncle knows about it by now. What happens to this mess? Will people boycott it perhaps?

Scheduled for a theatrical release on May 2, 2025.

Well folks, Rust aimed high but shot itself square in the foot. It’s a cinematic six-shooter that jammed on the first pull of the trigger and never quite made it back into the holster.

Knowing how poorly run the production was, I'm betting it won't be good. They probably got a sub par script and a low budget.

This movie was likely going to end to up on a streaming service without ever making to to theaters, which is the modern equivalent of straight to video.

The only reason people might watch it now is because of the publicity it got.

Is this a serious question? No, it MIGHT make SOME money but his star is already faded. Disney and Marvel are making less money these days. I don't think a Baldwin manslaughter movie is the secret to box office success.

I doubt people pay to see it in theaters.

People will slow down to gaze at a car wreck, they won't pay money,. drive there and make an evening out of it.

It'll get views on streaming but nothing crazy.
people will skip to the money shot and turn it off.

Some people claimed (before a decision was made to finish it) that it was a double tragedy because the movie was going to be awesome. Word of mouth...

Is it even gonna get a wide release? This seems like a Netflix movie.

Anyways, it will probably do better than it would have without the incident on set.
