Weren't you the guy who was saying Poirier was not on the Fireball Kids level last week? Bushido Gomi would handle Poirier or something to that effect?

I told you Hooker had a better chance than people give him for, a lot better chance, but still has to favour Poirier. I was right. Hooker won both first two rounds then Poirier won the last three. I was spot on. Gtfo here with your fake news, and don't vote trump in November.

Bushido Gomi would wipe the floor with Poirier. Not even close. It would be like Justin vs Tony, but with a finish.

Aldo has only won 3 of his last 8 fights. He'll be heading into BJ Penn territory soon.

Loaded question. He hasn't lost in the UFC obviously. I think he looks like a killer. But at the same time there is legitimate questions.

The questions revolve around him not fighting a single elite fighter yet. His best wins are Dodson/Rivera/Faber. Three solid guys, two are washed to varying degrees, all 3 are actually sneaky old as balls for the division.

Aldo probably beat Moraes and got robbed of a decision. At least we know he's still right there with the elites based on that, and obviously was at 145. I think that's the only question really is the level of competition Yan has faced. He's nearly undefeated, avenged his only lost, never lost in the UFC. But has he ever beat a top 5 guy? No.

wins are not relevant in the presented case, doh

if jones fights charlie sheen in 2020, and mickey gall beats condit , you will say mickey is better than jones?

I'm a long time Aldo and will still be win or lose, but I'm taking Yan for this fight as it stands right now.

I for the life of me can't seem to understand the hype for Yan, Just to say fuck you to sherdog I'm betting big on Aldo.

The guy used to train w/ prime Renan Barao and was better than him.

Yan looks like a hypejob to me. Not even on the level Barao was. The guy beats up retirement Faber, and people fall in love.

Listen up guys beating any version of faber like that is what it takes to be the bare minimum champ lvl.
Barao Dominated Faber worse than Yan. He also fought better versions of Faber as well...

It's not like Yan is something Aldo isn't prepared for, he's fought plenty better than him already, it really just comes down to how worn out Aldo is at this point IMO.

Damn. Didn't realize his skid was that bad...He has been fighting the best and he looked good against Moraes in his last fight though. I thought he won. I HOPE he still has it and takes out Yan. Not making any predictions tho.

Yan ONLY LOSS is a split loss to Magomed "Tiger" Magomedov, Zabit's temmate which is actually a UFC caliber fighter imo

Yan is going to steamroll him.

He'll put the pace on him and Aldo won't be able to keep up.
