Aldo vs McGregor Who are you rooting for?

As a big fan of Edgar and Mendes part of me would like to see Conor win, but I think the UFC would do their best to protect him and probably set those two up to fight while McGregor and Aldo rematch. Possibly even try to find a way to get another challenger in there before McGregor would have to face one of them. I dislike Aldo, but he's an all-time great and it'd be interesting to see how Conor handles losing and possibly getting knocked out. Either outcome works for me really and it's a fight I'm looking forward to. Defintely just looking forward to what will hopefully be a good fight.
 
What a stupid question. Do you root for the sun to come up? Or the stars to shine? We are simply waiting for it to happen. GOAT.
 
I'm just rooting for a great competitive fight. I expect Aldo to take the decision, but I don't care either way.

Even if McGregor loses, a serious challenge to Aldo will help that division for years to come.

Respectful? I think he is generally but carrying a picture of Mcgregor appearing as a joker for him to see just before his fight was far from respectful. Considering Conor sat cage side for his fight a month earlier, kept quiet and gave both Aldo and Mendes respect on twitter upon leaving made it even more disrespectful.

Looks like more people are annoyed by McGregor than in love with him, by a small margin.

Boo fuckin' hoo. He called Aldo out since he joined UFC, shat verbally on the whole division. Does he expect people to be silent about it? Conor's indoctrination is working wonders on you lot.
 
Aldo takes this with ease. Conor doesn't have the wrestling to make Aldo second guess throwing low kicks. Aldo obliterates the goat via taking out his leg and keeping a crippled goat at the end of a stiff jab.
 
Me and a friend were saying... loved McGregor until we saw the UFC embedded eps leading up to the Siver fight. It's true what Siver's coach said... thought McGregor was just a great showman until seeing his narcissism behind the scenes. Came across as a douche, and it was funny seeing him try to scare Aldo, who obviously wasn't scared at all, which in turn, seemed to scare McGregor a bit.
 
I don't get it. Every other thread is everyone hopping on Conor's nut sack but when there are polls Aldo gets the most votes.

I'm now convinced that most are trolling.

People are just afraid of being called haters cause that's the worst insult in today's age. But actually most people are tired of all the Conor stuff.
 
Huge fan of both, but I must admit McGregor winning would be so awesome.

If Conor wins the UFC will fluorish and PPV buys will shoot up; if Aldo wins the UFC will continue it's slump.

I want the UFC to do well so I'll cheer for Conor.
 
I just want a good fight. I've got no issue with Conor's shtick, it can be humorous but also exhausting and repetitive but there is no denying he's an excellent fighter.
I know the Aldo loyalist will argue his level of competition but it's how easy he beats people that is impressive.
I made the mistake of dismissing Jones and a Weidman thinking the jump in competition would end badly. I won't make that mistake he 3rd time.
I think it's a close fight and I just want it to happen and hope it lives up to the hype.

With the short version stated I will also say that I am not sure Conor has anything for Jose that he hasn't already seen before. When Aldo fought Lamas, he dealt with the same type of kicks, spinning kicks and such that Conor would throw. Conor may MAY be better and may have harder punches and Lamas did hold his own against Aldo so who knows.

Hard to say. Aldo has been around as the champ for awhile and is arguably the GOAT pfp fighter.

We will have two strikers who love to kick going at it. Either could catch the other and it is game over. Aldo has a history of being able to go the distance and he can take shots. I can't for the life of me imagine Conor will get into his head - though I admit I think Siver was gotten to and I would NEVER have guessed that.

I just want a good fight. If Aldo wins, great. If Conor wins I would like it to be a battle that isn't controversial. No buts. No questions. That would be awesome.

Last thing I will say is that despite the non-stop Conor trolling on these boards, Aldo is a HUGE step up from anyone Conor has faced. Even as a die hard Siver fan, Dennis is no where in the same level as Aldo. I am just not convinced Conor is going to even be able to do much. Siver got him down a couple times and Aldo would've capitalized on those and I am just not convinced Conor will have what it takes.
