I know everyone is hyped and discussing mcgregor, khabib , or tony v max and I don’t see any good fights left at Fw for max at the moment so it surely makes sense to move up

If he vacates I think they will make this the interm title fight and it will be a very good fight

How does it go down? Can aldo stuff all the tds and take it or does Ortega either catch him or get him down?

reach and pace. max's reach and pace gave ortega fits. edgar has t-rex arms, and he moves great but doesn't keep touching you over and over like max does (at least not nearly as effectively).

Ortega would have to tire Aldo but I don't think he can do that. He doesn't have the same controlled pressure style as Max. He is dangerous in exchanges and a much bigger guy, so that is where I see him having his best shot. He won't get Aldo down, and Aldo has a legit ground game. Ortega gets beaten by the jab, possibly knocked out.

Well after this fight I'm not sure how much Brian will have left - these long beatings are brutal and some guys just never recover. This was on par with Cain just mauling and eventually ruining JDS.

I think Aldo's cardio is not exactly lacking. He went 5 with Frankie not that long ago and looked great. I think a pressure fighter is what makes Aldo tired at this point in his career.. I don't see Ortega being able to pressure Aldo as effectively, and I see Aldo being too fast for him.

I don't see it. He can't take Aldo down and smother him. He won't be able to grind him against the fence. I just see him walking into shots. The only way I could see it is if Aldo starts trading in the pocket consistently.

Aldo has some of the best boxing in mma imo.
