Imo you're not ducking a weight class unless it's nearly impossoble for you to make weight in the weight class you fight in. Aldo might have a tough cut but he's never missed weight. Fighters that are legit ducking weight classes are people like Khabib, Darren Till, Mackenzie Dern etc..

I'll admit that the idea of Aldo vs. khabib is kind of interesting.

I sure would love to see Khabib vs a clone of Aldo that was 5'8" - 5'9" 175 lbs cutting down to 155 lbs. But as far as best wrestler vs best TDD goes, I guess we'll have to settle for Whittaker vs Romero, and Whittaker stopped the takedown in those fights.

Cartoonishly small, really? He probably weighs more than Michael Johnson for example, who fought at LW almost his entire career and no one thought he was way too small until he got destroyed by Khabib.

He's clearly smaller than Johnson. Much smaller frame and short. The other guy is right, he would indeed be cartoonishly small at LW by today's standards, similar to if Edgar went back up to 155. People close to him have said he's around 160 lbs when in shape.
