Both fighters are going to counterstrike all night and the winner will be determined on Octagon Control and who landed more. The end result will be extremely controversial and will cause arguments for years after the fight is over with.

I don't know if the result will be controversial, but based on Aldo's last fight, I'd say you're right. Very probably going to be a counter strike match with neither fighter committing much. But what do I know.

A lot depends on how McGregor will deal with going up to two divisions to WW and then coming back down again. He already had issues with the weight cut and his team said they dont want to put him through that again. It may be tougher for him to adjust back down to 145 after fighting two bouts at 170. I dont think he will have issues making the weight of 145, but I do question how efficient he will be in a 5 round fight.

If the cut does affect him I would take Aldo by decision, if he's in the same shape as always I would think that he's got a great shot to KO Aldo again and I would lean towards that.

I agree. Most of it depends on his weight situation. His recent posts on Instagram show him as VERY lean. I'd like to know what he weighs right now. Looks like he's training like a mad man for this rematch.

I am sure he is, he wants to avenge that loss to Nate bad. Nate on the other hand is looking big, his coach in a recent video said he was close to 200lbs. I imagine Nate will have a pretty good size advantage in this fight.

I would think Conor is no more then 170 right now. I recall talk that the most he weighs is 175 when he's at this biggest, considering he's training and lean he must be 170 max or less. I think he will come in 168 to170.

please neither of these guys fight for decisions.

and Conor's only way to win is by KO/TKO.

if you guys think Conor is gonna run for 5 rounds and work a decision your sadly mistaken. Nate wont allow that shit to happen he isnt his brother.

Yes nate does look pretty big. But Nate doesn't usually fight in a way that would exploit his weight advantage. Unless he gets on top.

The thing that worries me about Conor is I'm his sparring videos he's throwing the same strikes constantly that caused him to claim being "inefficient". He seemingly hasn't implemented any traditional kicks to the body or legs. He has a distain for Thai style and I don't understand it.

However Conor's boxing does look extremely sharp. Time will tell I guess.

we've never seen conor in 4th and 5th, and with his weight cut to 145, i think if it goes past 2, aldo takes over and wins either dec or TKO late.

At some point McGregor will land clean and Aldo will go down.
