You know it and there is no disputing this anymore. The guy is #1. The most spectacular thing about it is Aldo is a Striker first and formost.

Jones was taken down by Gus and Cormier. When was the last time Aldo was taken down? I dont even fricken remember and the guy mostly fights ELITE wrestlers like Chad, Frankie and Faber.

THoughts? Ideas?
 
He was taken down by Frankie and Chad but they didn't really have much success after gaining the TD.

Aldo's a stud when it comes to defensive grappling.
 
Are people telling you aldos next fight is going to need to be won by tdd?

Yes. My homie told me if Connor does not imporve that shitty TDD he gots then he will be in for a long night with Aldo. Short one if he is lucky.

Isn't Barao at 100% TDD?
 
I've been saying Aldo is the best defensive wrestler for a while. It's so hard to get in on his hips with his stance and movement and if you finally do he just fucking explodes and he's out of there.

Apparently Sherdog doesn't care if a TAM fighter gets a takedown. Somehow it doesn't count...

As for TS, Cormiers takedown of Jones was less legit than any of Mendes' takedowns on Jose. At least Jose had something other than a hand touch the ground once.

Aldo not having to worry about the takedown worries me as a Conor fan since I feel his striking will open up more
 
Does anyone remember when hominick got him down and held him there for a while? That was the only time he looked human on the ground

Nobody's questions it. It's iron clad. If you find someone who does, take it up with them instead of adressing it to the public like this is some commonly held belief.

This thread is like sending in an opinion piece to the local newspaper to publicly dispute the commonly held belief that the Earth is secretly ruled by alien pixies. It doesn't really need adressing; it's just the guy you met with his underwear on his head.

That's because Aldo beat Mark into two people and it doubled his strength. Mark wasn't human that last round he was "Alien" mark hominick the GOAT
 
We will see what happens when he faces the best takedown artist in the FW division this Saturday
 
dont think Aldo and his team were afraid how to avoid Conor's wrestling
