He will fight Holloway, not Conor.
Make sure about that. Conor is fighting for the LW belt if he win his next fight, if he doesn't, he will take a long time without fighting again.
after nate he will defend his FW title. He will fight Holloway, not Conor.

I'm afraid that might happen. Could Dana be so cruel though?

aldo is an easy fight, conor will do it so people stfu about not defending n shitNo, he won't.
He said that because he wants to keep it.
It would be huge for him and everyone else if he gets 2 belts.
I was able to record the brief moment. I wish they met up face to face in a postfight staredown...
I really hope Aldo gets a shot at redemption against Conor. I am definetely not certain he is gonna win, but I just want to see him have a real fight with Conor.
Sadly i fear that we are not going to see the rematch happen. Everybody wants to fight Conor. He can easily fight for the LW title if he wants to, so he can vacate the FW title safely. Furthermore it is not the easiest rematch to sell to casuals. They will think there is no reason to see Conor fight a guy he beat in 13 seconds again...
That's a great shot, McGregor is fighting Aldo after Nate, win or lose. He isn't afraid and can make the cut so why the fuck wouldn't he fight Aldo again. It's a great time to be a fan, let the these exciting fights roll on in.I really hope Aldo gets a shot at redemption against Conor. He has the interim belt, McGregor has to fight Aldo next if he wants to keep his belt. McGregor fully expects to beat Aldo and can make weight. It's a great fight and will sell, even moreso if McGregor manages to somehow beat Nate. Either way the only way he avoids Aldo is by giving up his belt and i don't think he will do that lightly. The fact that they didn't really makes me question if the UFC will make Conor fight him after Diaz.

I don't have the doubt that you and a few other have about McGregor's willingness to defend his belt. Who is he running from really, some would say Frankie which is fair enough but i don't honestly believe he is running from anyone. He lost his last fight and has the opportunity to make amends and that's why the FW division is where it is. I would be more than surprised if he doesn't defend after the Nate fight, i would be very disappointed and it would be my first real doubt about McGregor. When I saw Conor in the crowd I thought for sure that they would bring him into the cage after the Aldo/Edgar fight. Why wouldn't they bring the real champ into the cage to face off with the interim champ? I'll believe that Conor will defend that belt when I see it.

I will absolutely riot though, if, for some amazing reason, after the Diaz fight, McGregor gets a chance at two belts once again, holding off FW defenses just in case he has to start his goal of being a simultaneous 2-divison champ from scratch.
