It's tough for the little fella when he said: "If I lose this fight, everything I will have worked for will be for nothing"

Then comes out and says that he told everyone close to him he'd lose one day. I thought he said he wanted to go out like GSP? Anyway, it's a strange old psyche some Brazilian fighters have.

There is two choises. Give Conor his respect, take your loss like a man and move on.. Or be disrespectful, say "joker" and then you leave without your career.

It will be great to see Conor win 2 belts, just to hear the outrage from other fighters
    That's gonna be hilarious

If he retires, then yes he will have no belts. Conor said he's here to make a quick career, whoop ass, get rich and get out still young

Even if he is, he will have made more money than Aldo ever did across 10 years of being undefeated. If anything, it is Aldo who is being forgotten.

I have a feeling that 2016 is going to be a good year for popcorn connoisseurs.

    Conor Bless.

Conor is too loud for people to forget about him. I could see him beltless by the end of the year though. If he doesn't beat RDA defending against Frankie or Aldo won't be a walk in the park

Conor was bigger star without belt, than Aldo will ever be.

Aldo got completely humiliated in 13 seconds. Yet continues to humiliate himself further by talking.

I think it comes down to this 155 fight. If Conor wins I guarantee that the UFC lets him go for the 170 belt too cause really how are they going to stop him... If he loses he's probably got Edgar at 145. Edgar is a tough fight for anyone but definitely winnable for Conor. Not a guarantee though. It's certainly possible that Conor ends the year with no belts but I find it hard to believe that if he loses the 155 fight he'll be in any rush to fight again this year at 145.

Dude was undefeated for a decade and beat some of the best fighters in the world, held the title for six years and now people are claiming Aldo is no longer relevant.

Is he being salty and stupid saying Conor will be forgotten? Sure but goddamn, have some respect for one of the best fighters to ever live to say Aldo is no longer relevant is just ridiculous.

That's what some "journo's" are saying, inadvertently, that if he beats Dos Anjos he'll fight Lawler at 200.

I would pay good money to see a live stream from Woodley's house and his reaction if that was announced.

I don't see anything wrong with what he said. Conor has very tough fights with both RDA and Edgar ahead of him, if he even returns to FW. He could very likely lose to both, which would leave him with no belts. He won't fight at WW.

Conor is on the same level as Ronda in terms of hype. He's got the momentum now but if he were to lose to both guys this year, it could definitely tear him down. I don't think by any means he would deal with it as badly as Ronda has, but I do think a lot of the fans would bail on him.

I think that for Aldo, much like Rothwell, the only thing that could stop him right now from getting back his belt is politics. UFC is riding that train as hard as they can and they have no issue throwing champs to the side like Jose, RDA and Lawler to cash-in on the here and now.
