The only fighters to be favored over Alcantara in the UFC were Urijah Faber and Jimmie Rivera. Sandhagen was a bigger favorite over Alcantara than Jimmie Rivera was, and equivalent to Faber.

Ironically, this fight looked a lot like Faber vs Alcantara. Alcantara put Faber in a terrible position for the first minute, then got his ass whooped.
