Yes, they are making an example out of Krause trying to present the illusion this is just an isolated problem specific to this one individual not an industry wide standard. Can anyone really be surprised a Vegas based fighting organization is heavily influenced by big money gambling? If one top coach with dozens of fighters is corrupt, why assume the corruption stops there?

The last thing any gaming body wants is a bunch of lawsuits for offering plays on fixed sports as legitimate competition, even when there is a very real, very high profile suspicion that fights are being fixed.

IMO, it's naive for gaming bodies to still be taking bets on UFC fights.
