The next grand prix ill feature another 4 weight classes. These will be Welterweight, Middleweight, Light heavyweight and Heavyweight.
The event is in April 9, the whole fight card hasent been announced yet but it will have fighters like, steve carl, Thiago Silva, Beslan Ushukov and more

Volkan oezdemir will also compete i think at heavyweight.

Glad he's returning. I'd rather see him at his natural weight, but he'll be faster than a lot of guys at heavy. I would love it if they booked Thiago Silva vs Maxim Grishin on this card.

I can't wait to see the field at heavy.

Maybe Magomed Malikov will return after 2 years off for this one, he seems like a guy they'd go after.

Really love this organisation but they dont announce their fight card until like its 10 days left

I bet we'll see magomed abdurahimov.

Yes, you could also watch the last one too it was live on the internet
was there? i asked about it as did several other people and nobody replied at the time. We didn't even see results for sure as they happened from what i can recall.

I posted the links in the forum from the last event, i will post them again before the event starts on the same day 9th april

Steve Carl has been a disappointment lately. He was WSOF champ and probably could've got picked up by the UFC, but then lost his belt. He gets another chance on tuf, and doesn't show up at all during any of his fights. Hopefully he gets it together.

He had a good fight with Ushukov, even though Ushukov was winning the fight Carl got the sub. Hopefully we will see the rematch in this Grand Prix

Carl is scheduled to fight for the belt in Titan FC next month, so I'm not sure about him and Akhmat.

I just learned about that today, while I was looking at Carl's profile at Tapology, I thought maybe they have fight card or something like that for upcoming events of Akhmat. Here this upcoming Titan FC fight card: http://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/38807-titan-fc-38
But maybe Carl is confident that he will be able to fight twice in April. IIRC Des Green withdrew from Titan card to fight for Akhmat, so maybe such situation can happen again.

Love this promotion, it's like a funky European Bellator (Bjorn era).
