Aldo threw very little leg kicks, stood extremely flat footed with his head on a center line and did not defend smart at all... He won and deserved to because Jeremy’s strategy was hit hard which is not a good one. However against a smart striker with decent movement he will continue to struggle until he gets back to his roots. Yes I understand he is getting Old but last I checked not throwing leg kicks and standing flat footed is not a sign of age.

Atleast he threw a few leg kicks that clearly slowed Jeremy down

He has gotten impatient with age... except against Frankie

We know what changed Aldo

We just cant say it without repercussions

age didnt change aldo. the damage the comes with competing at the highest level did.

we need to understand that aldo has been competing at the absolute highest level since he was 22. it's not about age; its about mileage on the body. aldo has alot of mileage

He threw about 3 or 4 leg kicks. One of which were at the beginning of a combo that ended with a punch.

I was actually pleasantly surprised he didn't look tentative about throwing them. Maybe (hopefully) whatever injuries he was dealing with are gone.

Nobody ever talks about the serious motorcycle accident he was in. He basically became a boxer with a few super hard random leg kicks after that.

good win but Also will never be the champ you guys thought he was because he has gaping holes.

His reaction time has deteriorated with age, as it is usually the first thing to go. That doesn't work well for a counter puncher like Aldo. He is eating a lot more punches and getting himself in really nasty situations as a result.

He still has power, technique, and grit. But he used to be very elusive fighter who dominated fights. Now he is a clean punch away from the canvas.

He won in a great performance, but let us not kid ourselves.

There's age and then there's cage age.

Between the many, many, many title fights and many, many camps for title fights and Aldo not learning how to cut weight properly until only a few years ago Aldo has miiiiiiiiiiiles on his body that most other fighters his age don't have.

The leg kicks he threw got Jeremy's attention for sure...Stephens was like WTF??? Max is Aldo's kryptonite.

The reasons why Aldo lost to Holloway and McGregor are because they are horrible matchups for Aldo. High-output striker who targets the body a lot and a one-punch fighter like McGregor who can put anybody out.

He doesn't go for blast doubles like he did a long time ago against Hominick and KZ either and that might be because of age.

maybe he stands that way because of injuries.
