Both Colby and Romero were in high guards with their bodies completely exposed

It was even more blatant in Romero's case, and yet Whittaker never went to Romero's body hard with his hands/combos, or even just consistently with kicks

Body punching would've given Whittaker an EASY win over Romero

Off that body work, many more openings would've came

(fient the body to drop the hands and go up top etc).

Whittaker established jab work.

Good, now use that jab to fient high go low/touch jab up high to misdirect and drop the hammer down to the body etc (ala like what Conor does)

This just shows you how the best in MMA are not on Conor's level

Body work would've incapacitated Romero (gassed him out quick)

Tonight I just kept screaming "go to the body for fucks sake"

It generally pisses me off how many MMA fighters neglect the body

Take note. This is how you do it:

After tonight, it just makes me appreciate Conor even more

Part of being an actual educated boxer is body work and body punching (this is just one of MANY reasons why Conor is on another level)

Aside from Conor, Alvarez is the only other eduacted body puncher in MMA..and Conor ruined Alvarez...just goes to show you how special and next level Conor is

RDA did punch the body, and i recall many of bobbie's kicks going to Yoelito's gut

Did you even watch the fight?

The vast majority of Whittaker's output went to Romero's head and thighs (side kicks/low calf kicks)

Show me just 2 gifs of Romero body punching

That was a big mistake by Whittaker. Other wise Whittaker still would've dominated Romero with 1 hand

You will notice, Whittaker was far more dominant in the first fight. It was because Whittaker exclusively and CONSISTENTLY targeted Romero's body with teep kicks

Yet not one teep kick tonight. Just an occasional rare weak side kick to the the wrong parts of the body

It's strange how Romero's opponents always seem to fight with the worst gameplans possible. It's as if the UFC is paying Romero's opponents to not fight to their full potential/utilize their full arsenal lol. It's that fucking blatant lol. So odd. Romero's success only shows howb 185 is devoid of any true high IQ tacticians

PS

Also you will notice that RDA had his most success when ever he went to the body...further proving my point

I mean, if you actually know anything about fighting, I don't see how anyone sane can deny that BODY work IS KEY and is severely neglected in MMA (aside from Conor and Alvarez - the only educated body punchers in MMA)

I see your point yeah.
Do you think it's possible that Yoels wrestling pedigree conditions all of his opponents?

Again i'm not denying that it works. I jut think that is not as neglected as to say that only Eddie and Connor are educated body punchers

cheery picking a couple of gifs. You can do this for almost anyone.

conor does not work behind a jab, his foot work consists of turning his back to escape danger, wings lead power shots with his chin in the air.

He's good at sliding back and countering and pretty much that is it.

go ahead and drop your heads or your head going for a body shot on Romero see wtf happens. Theres a reason Bobby Knux was tentative. also RDA has decent body work but didnt get a chance tonight fighting off the back foot.

I saw Knux hit plenty of body shots. In the clinch too.
