Hey, I just was thinking as I was watching the weigh ins. What is it exactly that some of the fighters are drinking after they step off the scale. Guys like St pierre and Franklin. Is it anything particular?
It wasn't clear like water, I've seen orange and purple stuff I think your right about the pedialyte, thats exactly what the bottle looked like. Thanks
Most people drink pedialyte after weight cutting because it rehydrates and is also really easy on the stomach. After your stomach is empty and you start cramming water in it to rehydrate it can make you sick and pedialyte doesn't make you feel as sick.
pedialyte is good stuff. helped out a lot after the last time I weighed in (making 205 from 217 freaking sucked though) arguably it's just expensive gatorade, but I say, if it's good enough for babies, it's good enough for me. (breasts anyone?) note: may get weird looks when checking out with it... checker was like "oh, you have a sick little one?" me: "uh, no, it's for me"
