After Lombard flat lines okami, should he get a title shot?

I personally think so, its a fight i have wanted to see for a long time. l
 
I hope so too, hope Lombard walks through okami and gets the next shot
 
Would be cool to see, I think UFC might make him fight one more time after but who knows what will happen. Lots of guys that deserve title shots don't get them, and lots of guys get them when they don't deserve it at all..
 
Okami might surprise Lombard... Just make Weidman vs Rockhold, so Weidman can get his shot.

2-1 isn't title shot material for Anderson Silva when the division has new blood getting dumped in it and considering Weidman will be back in action by then.

Since Boetsch flat lined Okami I think it (fairly) took some of the shine off. I think beating Okami earns Lombard a title eliminator. He needs to get a few wins together... Palhares was coming of a stoppage loss to Belcher and has never beaten a single ranked fighter of any consequence in his career so far.

This is a match between an over-hype exciting fighter versus under-hype boring fighter.

ill be honest in saying that for the most part, when i see someone with nick diaz for an avatar i immediately try to start shit with them and dislike them.

but your a really cool dude that is pretty unbiased when it comes to your statements.

im a fan of nick diaz the fighter, i dont really like the way he carries himself all too much, and i for sure despise his hardcore nuthugging fans.

you give me hope for the nick diaz fanbase. I'll admit im a GSP fan but i dont live in fantasy land like alot of GSP's blind fanbase. If diaz does win ill be one of the first GSP fans to come on sherdog and conratulate him and his fans for a great victory. You are the type of diaz fan i will be congratulating.

lombard should have won the fight, i dont really see how anyone can sore the 2/3 round for tim.

Correct,judging by how poor Lombard looked against Boestsch,he does not deserve a shot for beating Okami and Palhares.make him fight the winner of weidmanns next fight for the shot

Either way thats how it went, debatable to some but it was certainly no robbery by consensus. You need to earn your place and thats on his record right now

It's called grappling. He won't be grapple fucking Lombard. Lombard by more brutal than Boetsch KO.
 
Yes, Lombard has the chin and striking to stand with Andy.
 
No he has no chance against Anderson I want him to fight Weidman or Belfort. I would love Lombard vs belfort it's a fight we all know is not going the distance 2 of the most aggressive strikers in MMA walking forward and throwing punches I would be surprised if it goes much longer than 2 rounds
 
If he soundly thrashes Okami you could make a case for an eliminator/No1 Contender bout, but not a title shot.

Dont let his sexyness cloud your judgement.
 
let Lombard and Belfort fight to see who challenges Weidman for #1 contender
