Does either one stand a great chance at defeating pettis if they were to fight? If no then who in the crazy a$$ LW division can?

Melendez has a solid chance but Sanchez doesn't have a prayer. I know everyone is hyped on Sanchez because of the chin, heart, and sheer willpower he displayed last night but be realistic, he got his ass whooped and he had exactly one moment through the entire bout which was when he landed that uppercut. Tough guy, good fighter, but nowhere near the elite of the division and Melendez proved that. I think Pettis probably takes Melendez simply because of his brutal kicks and Melendez's stance which is incredibly heavy on the lead leg, but in an exchange of hands anything could happen. I'd definitely buy the PPV.

I think Melandez has a great chance at beating Pettis.

Thomson can beat Pettis. I love how everyone is overlooking him. People are in for a surprise

In 5 rounds it will be so hard to fend off Pettis

I think they both have the style to do it.

I'm not sure Pettis would be able to handle Diego in full maniac mode. He's never been pressured like that, and Diego on top of him would be big trouble.

Well you think everyone is bad at boxing so it doesn't matter.

Pettis isn't a Muay Thai fighter either, but obviously he employs some of the techniques.

    Pettis would finish them both.

Melendez has really strong standup but I'm curious if he has the speed to counter Pettis and his kickboxing/submission game
