Yep guys like till know what it means to hype fights. Went from a tko of over the hill cerrone to decisioning wonderboy but hyped himself enough to get into a title fight. Tyron think the world is against him because hes black but conveniently forgets anderson, jones, dc, and rampage had a decent fan base for being exciting and knowing how to promote a fight. Being respectful only gets someone so far. There's a reason an irishman who lost to Nate diaz is still the highest paid mma fighter. He has a mouth on him and talks his way into a highest paid ever bullshit fight with highest paid boxer of all time.
When will top fighters learn that skills only get then so far. Casuals drive sales and casuals love drama and exciting fights.
Its okay to be a top level champ who honors the sport and brain cells more then the entertainment. They just shouldn't expect big paydays, and expect special treatment from a sports entertainment business.
There's a reason Chael was pretty popular, it wasn't his resume, it wasn't his fighting style.
