I find it humorous all the attention that Nate Diaz is getting after UFC 196 .It is amusing that anyone would buy into his sudden hype , it is not different than the other hype trains the UFC creates and will derail just as easily .

I think one of the saddest parts of the whole Diaz- McGregor debacle is that while it may be entertaining it is mostly promotional fodder for Mcgregor and the only reason he is being given any attention is to promote their star McGregor for a rematch and you can safely bet on a McGregor WIN { remember even if he loses he has his FW belt } On the other hand Diaz once he has outlived his promotional use will go back to being another lowly 40/40 fighter with a unimpressive 19-10 record .

Diaz's win over McGregor was imo one of his finest moments but he will not be able to maintain that hype after either a loss to McGregor in Round 2 or a loss to another LW top 5 guy { pick any one } and the UFC will jump on the chance to send him back into obscurity after all you can't believe they would ever want a Dopey Diaz brother as the face of the UFC .........

What makes you think Diaz with a full camp will lose, when 10 day Cabo Diaz finished Conor in the second?

I think he starts putting hands on Conor in the 1st round this time around.

Did you switch out your Conor avatar right after his loss or shortly after?

After Diaz win again he will be all they gained from this story

Diaz was always a big star and draw. The only difference now if he's getting paid and recognized for it.

But..but he was running marathons and triathlons and hasn't stopped running them since he was 5 so he still had more stamina then 100 million above sea level Cain's combined.

They will do whatever they think will make them the most money.

This kid has had less than a quarter of a year in the spotlight , please don't fucking shit on him.this kid has been fighting since UFC 44, it is what UFC 200 right now? Please son go back in the closet.

Diaz vs Mcgregor 2 gets booked believe me he won't have his belt anymore. Then he'll have a excuse that he can't make 145 anymore to duck Edgar and Aldo .

This. Him and his brother know how to sell fights albeit in a very awkward manner. They both headlined cards before conor and will afterwards. Nate sells and now he's getting paid for it. He's more a gatekeeper than championship material but he brings it & knows how to put on a show.

I'm really not sure what hype the TS is talking about. I'm sure Nate would prefer obscurity, btw. He hates dealing with the press. Both he, and Nick always have.

Besides, it would not surprise me to see Nate retire if he gets that re-match money. Unless, he's offered a shot at the LW belt.

He doesn't want world wide fame, and won't need the money. If he fights after the re-match. It'll be simply because he likes punching ppl in the face, imo.

Nate and Nick are now both cult heros
no one will put either of them into obscurity

people will continue to want to see them fight

Nate and Nick are doing better than most other obscure fighters of similar talent

Nate has been in the UFC for quite a while now. He has had some losses but man he has some darn good wins on his resume, and he is far from an average fighter that you claim. He's fought for a title in the UFC also fyi.

Because fighting isn't as simple as
longer camp = better fight

Conor will win and they will do the rubber match in New York. So Nate will relevant for at lest two more fights. If he plays his cards right Nate will be able to retire by the end of 2016

Nate is finally a big star and making the UFC money. You're dumb.
