- GSP retirement
- Anderson's defeats and PEDs positive
- Aldo's KO defeat
- McGregor's panic wrestler's impersonation
- Ronda's unexpected KO defeat
- Holly losing to Miesha
- Miesha demolished by Nunes
- Sage tapping asap
- Lesnar's cheating exposed
- PVZ being outclassed
- Weidman losing to Rockhold
- Rockhold losing to Bisping (a champ that will lose soon)
- RDA losing to Eddie, who's not gonna fight with Barboza
- Jones caught cheating, suspended again
- Chad Mendes caught cheating
- Cain losing to Werdum, who losses to Miocic
- Machida on PEDs
- Etc.

Hopefully this happens to the UFC, so it all fits again:

1. RDA beats Eddie on a rematch, so Barboza and Khabib would try to go for the belt: RDA is a great, well-rounded champion, and a nice guy aswell.

2. Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson beats Lawler on a great striking fight, becoming the poster boy the UFC is looking for. A rematch with Lawler and a fight with Condit would be on the schedule.

3. Mousasi gets his title shot against Bisping, and beats him inside the distance. Weidman, Rockhold and Jacaré would have their deserved shots to regain the belt. Just let the best win.

4. Cormier becomes a solid LHW champion until Jones gets back.

5. Overeem beats Miocic by TKO/KO after a great striking match. Cain is #1 contender on a very close fight for the belt.

6. McGregor...beats Nate so Sherdog goes nuts for weeks, until he realizes that Khabib, RDA or Barboza would make him look amateurish, and decides his best fight is a rematch against Aldo.

7. Nate doesn't gives a fuck after two McGregor's purses.

8. Ronda comes back and beats Amanda by armbar. She finally becomes a humble champ.

9. Mighty Mouse and Dominick Cruz agreed to fight.

TS : interesting post, but you assumed that UFC relies on old stars (Hendo vs Bisping, Mousasi...) and 4 recent poster boys that failed (MacGOAT, PVZ, Sage, Ronda). That's true but maybe it's time for UFC to wait and see. Maybe there will be a new attractive generation of fighters.

Well after getting the record MM beats Cruz. Becoming a two division champ. Then either vacates one or tries to defend both.

And if Jones gets two years I don't see Cormier sticking around waiting for him. Likely he loses or vacates to retire before then. The rest of a clean division catch up to Jones like the gals have caught Ronda. Though DC defending and beating Jones would be sweet as fuck. Which could possibly set up a trilogy.

Hopefully Ronda never comes back. Or loses to whomever she fights. Have you seen her new Reebok ads ? She is never going to a humble anything. She retires permanently.

Other than the stuff listed I'm just going with the flow. It's a crazy time in a crazy sport. And almost anything is possible.
