Advice for a kid pursuing his dreams

Your dream is to play college football? Ah, to be young and naive. Listen, you little goof, your education should be your priority. College football will only last a few years. Spend time and find a subject that you have passion for and go from there. Do not let your grades suffer.

Not only that but a fraud sport that puts a ton of equipment on to make it the most physical came and a car wreck on each play. I can't stand it and the injuries the players sustain.

Even with athletic scholarship, your chance of making the pros are slim. Find a subject area that interests you and study hard. Don't forget to network, especially with the college "nerds" in student clubs. Those people tend to be the most successful later in life and can boost your career with the right connection when you're in your mid 30's.
