A leap in competition for Henry, but Diaconu leaves himself open enough for a good boxer to exploit. But I don't think Henry's the guy to do it.
But damn is he short for light heavy.

I agree. Henry is pretty damn skilled, whereas Diaconou isn't. He can punh for days though...so it should be good.

Aside from getting dropped by Adamek late, Dawson was beating him convincingly.
I don't see it being much different for Diaconu.
And Dawson is significantly taller than Diaconu. I think Dawson takes this one convincingly as well.

Dawson had to get a replacement in Epifanio Mendoza and that fight occurred on 09/29/07.
How often do you want Dawson to fight?
Now he has a fight with Glen Johnson coming up.
Diaconu let that chance slip by him, that's not Dawson's fault.

Maybe Diaconu will get a shot at Dawson, but I don't think there will be any ripping of heads off. I'm pretty certain Dawson takes it. If the fight ever happens, let's make it interesting....

yes, Diaconu will give Dawson no way out of this fight, and after seeing seeing Dawson against Johnson, it becomes that much more likely that Dawson is knocked into the tenth row. I dont think you want to put money on Dawson. I think you are definitely reconsidering. Dawson will look for any way out of a fight with "the shark".

he has heavier hands, and in the situation where he is in and finds Dawson's chin through his lacking severely defense, the shark takes him out where Johnson failed. nothing about Johnson's guard is rocket science. Adrian's guard is more than capable, he will have his homework done and Johnson gave some nice study material. Bute also provides about as perfect a sparring partner for Dawson as one could find, only Bute doesn't in a thousand years leave the defensive holes that Dawson does. Dawson will be a walk in the park compared to Bute. Montreal/Romanian/Canadian connection taking over.
