Gracie Barra has had and will continue to have plenty of success. And Congrats to Samuel Braga! Good showing !
GBYorba, Man you have been on a tear for the past couple of days. First, I did read your entire post and may agree on something
Wow. Just wow. GBYorba: No offense but you seem to be on a mission to dissuade people from training at your school. What exactly are you trying to accomplish in this very public internet forum? If you are having second thoughts about the team you're training with, perhaps you need to take this up with your instructor in private. If you are insecure and looking for posts to reassure you that you're training with a great BJJ team then you have some deeper personal issues that need to be resolved.
Hmmmm I find this interesting after posting a thread about Barra possibly being a McDojo. Its kinda weird to hear a student of Barra actually back up that info, I would have expected the complete opposite.
Sherdog_Mutt, I know this guy; he trains at my school with me. He is a little high-strung to say the least. He thinks and rethinks every choice he makes, which for him is difficult in Jiu-Jitsu. He can
You are correct that a lot of new schools are starting to do very well, but I think Barra is a staple that will be around for a long time.
with nerves of steel like these GByorb needs to focus on a career diffusing bombs with the bomb squad instead of Bjj. fucking relax dude, you're making yourself and your school (which is an excellent one) look bad. Bjj schools are like family so you should be talking this shit over in house, not airing it to strangers over the net. Not to add to your stress but if you keep dragging the GB name through mud, intentional or not, you might be 'unwelcome' at the club in future.
