Checking into a treatment center is a major sign of trouble. Drug addiction/alcoholism is a serious medical disease*. It's chronic, progressive, and deadly without the proper help. For cocaine in particular, the chances of long-term, complete recovery are slim.

Like most incurable, progressive diseases, addiction is caused by some combination of the genetic, the environmental (upbringing), and the social (friends/partying too much).

Many people are unaware of this, but crowing about someone winding up in treatment is profoundly inappropriate. It means you're cheering because someone is very, very sick.

*Any Flat-Earth Society debate points should be referred to the American Medical Association.

Agreed, TS. I just hope some posters are right and he's not heavily addicted. I wouldn't wish addiction upon anyone.

TS is definitely not Charlie Sheen, Darryl Strawberry or Lindsey Lohan.

rehab is for the weak... he checked into it to save himself from the media and act like he is taking some action

Cocaine, and all Drugs, are a Criminal Justice Issue. The User is at fault for their actions because Cocaine is a choice. They choose to use it. It is illegal. Nobody forces them to make the choice. Thus, they should pay for their crime. The real story, is that if some Sherdogger failed a Cocaine Test at their job, they would be fired and ruined forever; while just being Rich gives him automatic forgiveness, and the lightest tap on the wrist that he can be given.

We need to elevate the War On Drugs to target the rich. Those with nothing to fear have nothing to hide.

Someone who uses Cocaine recreationally does not need to go to rehab. This is just an easy out and he can 'apologize'

Calm the fuck down, he just likes to party. Dude isn't in dire straits.

This is turning into one profoundly entertaining evening on Sherdog.

So many assumptions, so little information.

There is absolutly no proof that he is actually addicted, they just use that term to make it sound like he's ill and brave for seaking a treatment. It's likely that he doesn't need medical assistance at all, don't act like he was caught doing heroin and crack everyday.

Anyone who has ever used cocaine has possessed it in their system. For this, he should be arrested for Possession Via Consumption, tried and penalized to the fullest extent of the law.
