ADCC Tickets

Did anyone else here do the early mail order ticket thing for Abu Dhabi tickets? I did, and I'm STILL waiting for my tickets to arrive. Now they are available to order online or by phone, and I'm thinking now I should have just waited to order mine, but I wanted to get decent seats. I've tried sending an e-mail inquiring about them, but haven't received any response thusfar. Has anyone that ordered them early by mail actually received their tickets yet?

I e-mailed teh dude to ask him last week and got a response yesterday, here's what he said:

"They are being processed by Del Management this week, so you should be receiving your tickets in the next couple of weeks. Please feel free to check in with me if you do not receive them by then."

Awfully slow turnaround for a "pre-order".

That kills me. What I'm afraid of is that these idiots didn't reserve the tickets for all of the pre orders. Nothing like screwing over the people who went to the trouble of sending their orders in early.:icon_cry2

I ordered mine online when that first became available. I got them mailed to me in under a week.

I'm always wary of sending checks by mail because it's hard to verify that you actually received the stuff. At least with a credit card you can just call your company to resolve it if there are any problems. Businesses listen to the credit card companies because if they don't, they won't be allowed to take credit cards anymore.

Yea unfortunately I ordered mine just days before they started allowing online orders.
I am going to be so pissed if they didn't reserve my seats. I emailed them but have yet to get a response. There is no reason why my tickets shouldn't be here by now. This is very unprofessional of them.

i had sent in for them on feb 5, then by march they hadn't cashed my check and the normal tickets were on sale, i wrote to DEL Mgmt (the company running the preorder) and they said they were going to cash my check and send the tickets, i argued with them that i could get the tickets w/out the extra charge for early order, after several angry threatening emails, they finally agreed not to cash my check. very poorly run business.

Yesterday I sent them an email saying how I thought the way they were handling these ticket sales was very unproffesional, and today I got an email back from them.

Michael - Apologies, and you are correct about the service. The checks are deposited, and the tickets you requested will be shipped within 10 days.

I am in Abu Dhabi for planning, but when I return on friday I will send you a note with your exact seating - you will receive the tickets in the mail shortly after.
