The founder of the human rights project Gulagu.net, Vladimir Osechkin, said that he was able to take out from Russia a secret 40 gig video archive containing torture of prisoners.
Currently Osechkin posted the first video. The footage shows the regional tuberculosis hospital No. 1 of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) for the Saratov region. The inmate was tied to a bed and raped with a stick.
FSIN members recorded tortures on video for reporting to the authorities and for “compromising evidence”, with the help of which they then force people to sign testimonies and cooperate with the operatives.
The archive was leaked by a programmer who was in jail and was also tortured, and then FSIN decided to use him "as a professional" - so he got access to computers and video recorders of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
All this happened not only in Saratov, but also in other cities of Russia. Vladimir Osechkin said that he had not yet seen the "most terrible materials" and doesn't know yet what could be captured on these videos.
